The general membership of the New York State Chapter of the ACOFP shall be comprised of duly qualified, licensed Osteopathic Family Physicians, Residents and Fellows who are graduates of a College of Osteopathic Medicine, and medical students who reside or attend an Osteopathic Medical School located in New York State.
Physicians in all specialties (both DO and MD) and persons whose professional activities involve cooperation with osteopathic family physicians, or who contribute to some phase of a special field of osteopathic family medicine, such as education or research in scientific fields, may become associate members, serve on committees, may vote on committees, but may not vote as a delegate or hold elected office. As members, they may participate in the chapter’s programs, with certain restrictions as outlined in the by-laws .
Dues of $125 payable every October. Dues can be paid with National ACOFP dues.
